The term "custom account" simply describes any app or service that is not available as a standard "catalog" offering in Meldium.
For example, let's say you favorite web site is a relatively unknown site dedicated to the fine art of painting walnut shells. Most likely this site is not popular enough to be a standard Meldium app/service. But don't worry: You can add your favorite site as a custom account.
Once added, you can choose to securely share the login credentials with
anyone. Remember that any user with whom you choose to share custom accounts
will be able to see both the username and password. If one of these users
leaves your Meldium team, you will want to change your password immediately.
To add a custom account
- On your Meldium Launchpad, click the large green Add an Account button.
A side panel is displayed.
- Type the name of the account you want to add (for example, WalnutPainting.com).
If the application you are trying to add is not in our catalog, Meldium prompts you to add it as a custom application.
- Enter the login details (username/email and password).
Tip: If you would like to automatically share access to this account choose the relevant organization from the drop-down menu. If you would like to keep this as a personal account, leave (none) selected in the drop-down menu.
- Click Confirm.
